PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and a display control method with which: when requesting an image forming apparatus to process a job from an external terminal, a user can easily check a state of printing while achieving a power-saving effect.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises an information terminal 2 and an image forming apparatus 3 that executes a job received from the information terminal. The information terminal or image forming apparatus includes a display destination determination part 35 that, when displaying state information indicating a state of the job, determines on which of the information terminal and image forming apparatus the state information is to be displayed, and UI control parts 22 and 32 that display the state information on the determined one of the terminal and apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
