PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record high quality barcode information within the regulation, while preventing deterioration of throughput as much as possible, in a serial scan type inkjet recorder for recording the barcode information. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder detects predetermined barcode information (701, 702, 703) in image data before recording and changes its recording operation to be one capable of obtaining the high quality recorded result when recording the detected barcode information (701, 702, 703).
