PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plastic lens for spectacles which has a thickness equivalent to that of an ordinary plastic lens for spectacles, and a method of manufacturing a polarizing plastic lens for spectacles.SOLUTION: A plastic lens 100 includes; a first lens substrate 110 having a surface 111 on the object side; a second lens substrate 120 having a surface 121 on the eyeball side; and a polarizing film 14 which is provided between the first lens substrate and the second lens substrate and from which a minimum value of a distance W1 to the surface on the object side is equal to or more than 0.3 mm and equal to or less than 0.7 mm.
