PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with display, check, and correction of a preview of superimposition every time for each document, in a case where there is possibility that a document of a size/orientation other than that set in advance is inputted.SOLUTION: An image forming device which displays a preview of a superimposition image obtained by superimposing a document image on a form previously stores the size or orientation of a form selected by a user and setting information on the composition region of the document image to be superimposed on the form, determines whether the size or orientation of an inputted document image matches that of the stored form, and displays an alert if determining a mismatch. If determining a match, the image forming device displays a preview obtained by superimposing the inputted document image on the form in accordance with the setting information. |
