The brake (1) has two self reinforcement devices (7,10), where one of the self reinforcement devices works with self reinforcement during one direction of rotation of a brake body, and the other self reinforcement device works with self reinforcement during another direction of rotation of the body. Each self reinforcement device has a friction brake pad, which is pressed against the brake body for braking both of actuating devices (12).
