PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acquisition process of a geometrical configuration specified by a deformable material. SOLUTION: A process and an acquisition device of the deformable geometrical configuration are provided. A set of sensors 1 is placed on the form (a curved face or a surface), wherein each sensor supplies representative signals of the form direction at the position of the sensor; a model of the form is selected; parameters of the model are determined based on the signals, and the distances which separate the sensors are measured; the spatial arrangement of the points of the form are determined based on the parameters of the model and distance measurement.
