PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer reference data to an inspection apparatus with high efficiency, in inspecting an image by comparing an image formed by reading a result of image forming output and a master image.SOLUTION: In an image inspection system for inspecting an image, an engine controller 2 for controlling a print engine 3 includes: a data acquiring part 201 that acquires bitmap data; an engine control part 202 that causes the print engine 3 to execute image forming output on the basis of the bitmap data; and a master image processing part 203 that transmits information generated for an inspection apparatus 4 for inspecting images, on the basis of the bitmap data for the master image to be referred in the inspection. In a solid area of a predetermined range or larger in the bitmap data, information for specifying the solid area is generated instead of the information on the pixel of the range. |
