PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image containing a template image and a writing image by carrying out writing operation by indicating a template image without requiring an operation of the template image writing. SOLUTION: An electronic blackboard comprises a writing sheet 104 containing a transparent writing surface 104a, a template surface 153 positioned on a rear surface of the writing surface 104a on which the template image 152 is formed, and a writen image reading part for optically reading an image written on the writing surface 104a by conveying the writing sheet 104. The image written on the writing sheet104a is read with the writen image reading part, template image data indicating the template image 152 is obtained from a memory zone, and combined image data of a combined image on which the template image indicated by the template image data at a specified position of the image indicated by the image data is generated and output.
