PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit multi-bit data within one clock cycle through one signal line. SOLUTION: The communication equipment comprises: a delay circuit 120 for generating a plurality of delay signals within one cycle of a reference clock by a plurality of delay elements; an encoder 101 for determining a set of rise timing and fall timing within one pulse of the reference clock for digital data; a selection circuit 150 for selecting delay signals of the determined one set of rise timing and fall timing; and a pulse generation circuit 160 for generating pulse signals from the delay signal corresponding to the rise timing and the delay signal corresponding to the fall timing which are selected in the selection circuit.
