PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data use system which gives a new identifier to data very easily by setting the new identifier according to instructions in a screen, prompting a user to set the new identifier, displayed when an identifier is automatically or semiautomatically given in use. SOLUTION: The data use system has an identifier decision means of deciding whether the identifier given to the data generated by a data generating means is automatically or semiautomatically given by the data generating means or given by a user. In using the data, the screen to prompt the user to set the new identifier is displayed when the identifier is automatically or semiautomatically given, so that the user is only required to set the new identifier according to an instruction in the displayed screen.
