PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of a time and labor for checking the order of a plurality of storage media when data recorded in the plurality of storage media are recorded in one storage medium. SOLUTION: The recording apparatus is provided with: a means for writing data recorded in a removable first storage medium in a second medium; a means for obtaining and storing ID uniquely allocated to the first storage medium; a means for obtaining and storing a data size recorded in the storage medium; a means for generating and storing association information indicating association among the plurality of first storage media; a means for generating and storing the order information of the first storage media associated with one another; and a means for determining a head address used when the data recorded in the first storage medium are written in the second storage medium by using the association information and the obtained data size.
