<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cloth damage or entangling caused by a friction of clothing in a washing machine having a pulsator. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine includes a washing and spin-drying tub 3, the pulsator 5 provided on the bottom of the washing and spin-drying tub 3, an outer tub 2 having the washing and spin-drying tub 3 inside and used for storing washing water and a driving device 15 for driving and rotating the washing and spin-drying tub 3 and the pulsator 5. The pulsator 5 has a disc shape which has a plurality of projected blades 10 on a surface.
