The present invention relates to a pattern forming apparatus for a light guide plate, which transfer a pattern to the surface of a light guide plate. The pattern forming apparatus for a light guide plate includes: a sensing part which measures left and right distortion of a sheet material which enters a pattern forming part to prevent the position of the pattern from being distorted as the left and right distortion occurs due to thickness variation of the sheet material for the light guide plate which passes between a pair of rolling rolls forming a pattern; and a correction unit which corrects the distortion of the sheet material by correcting the height of the rolling rolls according to a distortion measuring value of the sensing part. So, the generation of pattern position error can be prevented.
