Disclosed are a file scanning method and terminal, the method comprising: acquiring a to-be-scanned file; acquiring a current CPU occupancy rate and a memory utilization of the system; and determining the current usage state according to the current CPU occupancy rate and the memory utilization of the system, and selecting a corresponding scanning policy to scan the to-be-scanned file according to the current usage state of the system. The present invention, while ensuring normal operation of the system software, performs a classification scan of the files according to the current usage state of the system (the CPU occupancy rate and the memory utilization), thus ensuring stability and high performance of the system, and satisfying the requirement of a user requiring to classify and scan the files. |
