A fitting portion (25) of a housing (6) of an electrical connector (3) according to the present invention has a counterpart connection member (4) that is inserted therein and displaces along an insertion direction (D1). A contact (5), by being displaced along a direction parallel to the insertion direction (D1) with respect to the housing (6), is inserted into the fitting portion (25). The contact (5) comprises a first contact portion (11) for contacting an electrical conductive portion (2c) of a circuit board (2), a second contact portion (12) for contacting an electrically conductive portion (4b) of the counterpart connection member (4), and a connection portion (13) for connecting the first contact portion (11) and the second contact portion (12) with one another. The housing (6) is an integrally-formed molded article. A first insulating portion (27) of the housing (6) is disposed between a linear portion (14b) of the connection portion (13) and a peripheral portion (2g) of the circuit board (2) in a thickness direction (Z1). |
