PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of achieving improvement in light output and securing of strength in addition to reduction in manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a package equipped with a pair of leads in which a first lead 11a and a second lead are arranged via a gap part, a resin part which is arranged in the gap part and fixes the pair of leads, and a wall part 13a which is arranged only in a part of the periphery of the pair of leads and also arranged over at least the gap part; and a light-emitting element 12 placed on the first lead 11a.
