PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower which achieves improvement of the intake efficiency.SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower 1 according to one embodiment of the invention includes: an impeller 10; and a casing 20. The impeller 10 has blades 13 arranged around a rotary shaft 12 in a circumferential direction. The casing 20 houses the impeller 10 so that the impeller 10 may rotate. The casing 20 has: a suction port 210 which faces an axial one-end part of the rotary shaft of the impeller 10; and an annular bell-mouth 30 provided at a peripheral part of the suction port 210. The bell-mouth 30 has: a base part 31 facing axial one-end parts 13F of the blades 13; and a tip part 32 protruding to the outer side of the casing 20. The base part 31 of the bell-mouth 30 has a first enlarged diameter part 301 which expands an opening diameter of the suction port 210 from the tip part 32 toward the one-end parts 13F of the blades 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
