PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display system for a television telephone or television conference system by which a user can naturally communicate without being conscious of devices.SOLUTION: An imaging device 10-1 images reflection light from a first holographic optical element surface 11-1 to transmit the imaged light to a projection device 13-2 on the call reception side. A second holographic optical element surface 12-1 is arranged in parallel with the first holographic optical element surface 11-1. A projection device 13-1 is arranged outside a cone having its apex and its side surface including the first holographic optical element surface 11-1's boundary, where as the apex's position is taken a position T of a virtual imaging device at the time of assuming that light having formed an image on an imaging element of the imaging device 10-1 penetrates both holographic optical element surfaces without being reflected or deflected and forms an image on an imaging element of the imaging device; and projects video imaged by an imaging device 10-2 on the call reception side on the second holographic optical element surface 12-1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
