The supply has an input protective circuit (5), where the supply is connected to an energy supply (9) by the circuit. A switching unit (7) is connected to the circuit by two lines (23, 25). A capacitor (27) serves as short-time energy-storage and lies in a transverse branch (29) that connects the lines. Another capacitor (31) serves as energy storage for by-pass of short-time failure of the energy supply and lies parallel to the former capacitor in another transverse branch (33) that connects the two lines.
