The machine (1) has a camera device that generates image of machine users. The device has a camera head (2) with a set of image sensor units for detecting optical signals and converting the signals into electrical signals. An evaluation unit (3) converts the electrical signals into an image. The head is separated spatially and is formed from the evaluation unit in a miniaturized manner. A representing image that is optimal detectable is generated from two different images of the users that are detected by the head concerning a certain parameter such as duration of exposure, in the unit.
