PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly recover power supply from an instantaneous stop while alleviating a control burden in game control.SOLUTION: A start and stop of a watch dog timer can be switched by a user program (software) by using a prescribed bit value at the setting of a reset of a ROM. When power supply is started, a determination is made whether or not a power cutoff signal is in an on-state prior to the permission of access to a RAM (Sa25). When a determination is made that the power supply cutoff signal is in the on-state, the watch dog timer gets started with transition to a standby state that infinite loop processing is repeated (Sa26), and a reset operation by the generation of a timeout is validated. A monitoring time measured by the watch dog timer can be set from a plurality of preset kinds, and can also be set to the longest settable time. |
