PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game control device, a game control method, a program, a game system, and a communication terminal with which a user can maintain interest in a process till the user acquires a result on a game while playing the game by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A game control device running a game simulating a sport or game in the real world includes: a setting means for setting a state achieved in the sport or game, prior to an event of the game; an event generating means for generating the event based on information on a predetermined operational input under the state programmed by the programming means; and a result generating means for generating a result on the game based on the state set by the programming means and the event caused to occur by the event occurrence means.
