<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a minute concave portion that can form the minute concave portion capable of effectively reducing sliding resistance on an inner peripheral surface of cylindrical hole of a work, with a high precision and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the method to form the minute concave portion T on the inner peripheral surface Ba of a cylinder bore B, after applying a boring process as a mirror finishing process on the inner peripheral surface Ba of the cylinder bore B, the minute concave portion T is formed by applying a micro-forming process, that is a plastic forming process, on the inner peripheral surface Ba.
