PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage rolling mill changing the number of stages with which in the case of being a large number stages, large thrust loading and bending loading to work rolls can be applied. SOLUTION: In the multi-stage rolling mill1 1 changing the number of stages, having the work-rolls 52, 53 fitted so as to be possible to be recombined between back-up roll parts 12, 13, 22, 23 and intermediate roll parts 32, 33, 42, 43; one pair of roll-type bearings 54, 57 abutted on the respective end surfaces 52s, 53s by disposing both end parts of the work-roll pair 52, 53, are provided.
