PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine which achieves improvement in efficiency of laundry and shortening the drying time thereof as a result. SOLUTION: The washing and drying machine includes: an outer drum 2; an inner drum 5 rotated inside the outer drum 2, having a roughly cylindrical shape to constitute a storage chamber 10 therein; a takeout port 6 which is constituted on one end face 5A of the cylinder of the inner drum 5 in an axial direction and through which the laundry is to be taken out and introduced; a plurality of through-holes 7 which is formed in the periphery side face 5S of the cylinder of the inner drum 5 and in the other end face 5B in the axial direction, and from which water is discharged during washing and circulated air for drying is distributed during drying; and a blowing regulation means for discharging the air for drying into the storage chamber 10 from one end side or the other end side of the cylinder of the inner drum 5 in the axial direction, allowing the air to flow out from the through-holes on the other end side or from the one end side and inhibiting the outflow of the air for drying from the other through-holes 7 during drying.
