摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide information for assisting the determination of a location where a stent graft is to be placed in a blood vessel to reduce the leakage from the gap between an end of the stent graft and the inner wall of the blood vessel. A medical image processing device comprising: an image memory unit (11) which stores image data in a range including an aneurysm of a subject; a blood vessel extraction unit (12) which extracts a blood vessel wall area from an image; a calculation unit (13) for rate of change of vessel diameter and so on, which calculates, on the basis of the blood vessel wall area extracted above, the rate of change of vessel diameter, the vessel curvature and the vessel oblateness, each index relating to the neck of the aneurysm, on each of a plurality of discrete points within the blood vessel wall area; a range determination unit (14) which extracts a feature point, on which at least one of the rate of change of vessel diameter, the vessel curvature and the vessel oblateness passes the threshold thereof, from among the plurality of discrete points and then determines the range wherein a stent graft is to be placed in accordance with the feature point thus extracted; and a display unit (19) which displays a deprecated range layered on the stored image.
