PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glycosylated hemoglobin measuring method using an amadoriase, which can more easily and quickly obtain a measured value with high accuracy, and a reagent composition for measuring glycosylated hemoglobin which is used for the measuring method, has less restriction on use conditions, and enables sufficient exhibition of the performance of a prescribed enzyme.SOLUTION: A reagent composition for measuring glycosylated hemoglobin is formulated with an amadoriase whose reactivity against &egr;-fructosyl lysine to reactivity against α-fructosyl valyl histidine is remarkably reduced in a wide pH range from a weakly acidic region to a weakly alkaline region. A glycosylated hemoglobin measuring method uses the reagent composition. A measured value with high accuracy can be obtained in a wide pH range including a pH optimal for the reaction of the amadoriase without performing steps such as elimination of influential materials by pretreatment. |
