PURPOSE: A side airbag control system is provided to keep a passenger safe by selectively developing the side airbag towards the head of the passenger. CONSTITUTION: The side airbag control system includes a sensor(100), a side airbag, and a controller. The side airbag is developed towards the head of the passenger. The controller(200) measures the head location of a passenger according to the value sensed from the sensor. The controller determines the deployed position of the side airbag by the measured value. The side airbag is prepared in the sheet of the passenger. A plurality of holes arranged in top and bottom are formed at the side of the seat to be developed according to the measured head location. |
