PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discomfort when seated at low cost.SOLUTION: A cover member 8 which can be fitted to a backrest body 7 of a chair 1 includes a base member 80 fitted along the backrest body 7 and a skin material covering the base member 80. The base member 80 is integrally provided with: a circumferential frame part 83 which is supported along a peripheral part of the backrest body 7; and a tongue piece part 84 which is formed inside the circumferential frame part 83 and is a plate extended downward from an upper side part 83a of the circumferential frame part 83 and whose lower end part 84a is positioned above a lower side part 83b of the circumferential frame part 83 and below a middle part in the horizontal direction of the backrest body 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
