The present invention relates to a battery module. According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a battery module comprising: a second battery unit including a plurality of secondary batteries arranged at intervals in a horizontal and a vertical direction, having electrode terminals and safety belts aligned towards one side; a pressing plate which covers, in a shape of a band, the outside of the secondary battery and presses the secondary battery unit with a predetermined pressure; and an insulation cover which covers the electrode terminals and the safety belts, has ducts which are connected to the safety belts and are formed to guide gas to a first location exhausted from the safety belts, and includes a vent hole member joined to be connected to the duct on the first location. The present invention provides a battery module which has a minimized size, and is able to discharge gas more efficiently. |
