The method involves successively applying insulation layer (16) and current collector layers (18, 20) on a surface of a substrate (14) i.e. semiconductor substrate (12), for forming a layer of a thin layer battery (10). Different areas are separated laterally from one of the previously applied layers, where the layers are separated via a laser beam. The substrate is selected from a group consisting of a ceramic substrate, a glass substrate and a plastic substrate, where the substrate comprises an integrated switching circuit. An independent claim is also included for a thin layer battery. |
