A remote control system (1), provided with an operation terminal (20), a controller (30), and a device (40) provided with an information output unit. The operation terminal (20) transmits operation information pertaining to remote operation to the controller (30). The controller (30) specifies the output mode of the information output unit corresponding to the operation information received from the operation terminal (20), and transmits, to the device (40), a command for controlling the information output unit in the specified output mode. The device (40) controls the output mode of the information output unit on the basis of the command received from the controller (30), and thereby notifies a nearby user of the operation information. |
