PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that can appropriately cool a light source in various attitudes.SOLUTION: A light source device 31 comprises: a light source 311; a housing 5 for a light source that includes wall surfaces 521 provided in an area surrounding the light source 311 when viewed from a direction along an optical axis 31Ax, and has a plurality of ventilation holes 52A in the wall surfaces 521; a plurality of rotary bodies 61 that individually open/close the plurality of ventilation holes 52A by rotation along the wall surfaces 521; and a flow channel 7F that can communicate with the plurality of ventilation holes 52A. The wall surfaces 521 extend in a direction intersecting with the optical axis 31Ax; the plurality of ventilation holes 52A are provided on both sides of a horizontal surface passing through the optical axis 31Ax in a first attitude in which the optical axis 31Ax extends along the horizontal surface; the ventilation holes 52A are formed on the optical axis 31Ax side of the rotation center of the rotary bodies 61; the rotary bodies 61 each include a closure part 61b, an opening part 61a, and a weight part 612 provided on a peripheral edge on the opposite side of the closure part 61b in the opening part 61a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
