PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air flow control device where one end portion of a valve shaft is supported by a first bearing section of one side portion of a throttle body and coupled to a manually controllable lever outside of the throttle body while the other end portion of the valve shaft is supported by a second bearing section provided on a side, which is opposite to the first bearing section across an intake passage, of the throttle body, capable of simplifying a bearing holding structure for the two end portions of the valve shaft and achieving cost reduction and improved assemblability.SOLUTION: In a first bearing section Bb1, a first bearing hole 11 and a large-diameter attachment hole 13 continuous with the first bearing hole via a stepped part s are formed, a flange section 14 in one end portion of a valve shaft j2 is inserted into the attachment hole 13 so that one side surface of the flange section faces the stepped part s, a collar C surrounding an outer circumference of the one end portion of the valve shaft on the other surface side of the flange section 14 is press-fitted into the attachment hole in such a manner as to sandwich the flange section between an inner end of the collar and the stepped part, a stopper flange Cos engaged with a first-bearing outer end surface 16 is provided to protrude from a collar outer end Co, and a second bearing section Bb2 is configured by a bag hole-like second bearing hole 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
