摘要 The invention relates to the field of physical fitness and sport, as a substitute for known treadmills, and also to the field of input arrangements or combined input and output arrangements for interaction between user and computer. The present device consists of platforms which can be fastened to the feet of a user and which have mounted thereon means of propulsion (rollers, balls, castors, caterpillar tracks), which are driven by motors. The device can be designed to perform the function of transmitting/receiving data to/from an electronic computing machine. The device can be designed to lift and adjust the inclination of the foot relative to a base in order to simulate walking or running uphill, downhill or on a staircase. The device can be designed such that the function of the means of propulsion is performed by electromagnetic waves. The technical result is that of compensating a multidirectional movement made by a user relative to a starting point in space (i.e. returning to the starting point). This technical result is achieved in that the platforms move the user's feet in a direction opposite to the movement of the user in space. This obviates the need for bulky and expensive treadmills. Multidirectional movement by the user is indispensable when the device is used with an electronic computing device as an input/output device. The best results can be obtained when the device is used in combination with devices for generating a virtual reality. The device makes it possible to input data in order to calculate the movement of a character in a virtual world on the basis of a complete movement made by a user in the real world.
