A nonwoven composite mulch is formed of a mixture of strong natural fibers (jute, coconut, … etc.) and phosphate fibers. The latter include various trace elements and other chemical elements in order to supply the market crops or the like with the nutritional elements needed for the growth of said crops or the like and for the protection thereof in multiple ways against various parasites. The mulch also thermally protects the fertile soil and the root system from elements in the atmosphere, and particularly from excessive runoff, heat, and drought and helps to control depletion of humus. The mulch, which is biodegradable, contributes in various ways to protecting the environment. |
