PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that continuously stores various types of information in a storage part even when a toner cartridge is moved to a replaceable position.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a toner cartridge that can be inserted or withdrawn into/from an image forming apparatus body; and a storage part that is provided on the toner cartridge to store at least information on the toner cartridge, and is connected to the image forming apparatus body when the toner cartridge is attached to the image forming apparatus body. The toner cartridge 28 can be moved from an attachment position to the image forming apparatus body to a replaceable position of the toner cartridge while the connection between the storage part 83 and the image forming apparatus body 2 is maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
