PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device comprising a fixing roller, a pressure roller brought into pressure contact with the fixing roller, and an electricity eliminating part 50 that eliminates electric charge from a charged surface of the pressure roller, and prevent the electricity elimination part 50 from unevenly eliminating electricity from the surface of the pressure roller 23.SOLUTION: An electricity eliminating part 50 comprises: a rotatable rotating roller part 51; a brush part 52 that has its base end part connected to a peripheral surface of the rotating roller 51 and is composed of a plurality of conductive fiber bristles 52a; a driving part that drives to rotate the rotating roller part 51; and a regulation member that is in contact with the brush part 52 from the downstream side in the direction of rotation to cause the plurality of conductive fiber bristles 52a to be inclined toward the outside in the radial direction from the downstream side to the upstream side in the direction of rotation, so as to regulate the distance between the tips of the conductive fiber bristles 52a and the peripheral surface of the rotating roller part 51 to a set distance set in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
