METHOD FOR SCREENING OF RECEPTOR-BINDING SUBSTANCE

<p>Disclosed is a method for screening an agonist comprising the steps of: expressing an receptor to obtain an yeast capable of presenting a randomized agonist candidate substance on the surface layer of the cell; and detecting an yeast in which the expressed agonist candidate substance is bound to the receptor, the yeast being modified so as to increase the sensitivity of the detection. Alternatively, the method may comprise the steps of: culturing an yeast having a receptor expressed thereon together with an agonist candidate substance in a culture medium for a period of time within 72 hours; and detecting an yeast having the agonist candidate substance bound thereto. The method can screen an agonist of a receptor that is considered to be important for biological functions with high efficiency or high sensitivity.</p>
