<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of comparatively simply reaquiring lacked data within a short period even when the lacked data are generated during the receiving of a TYPE2 server type broadcasting. <P>SOLUTION: A system controller 13 manages the acquisition completion state of a module (n), the acquisition completion state of a block (m) of the module (n), etc. in the receiving of the TYPE2 server type broadcasting and stores the management data of unacquired data (block). The digital broadcast receiver can be connected to an Internet server by an Ethernet controller 18. The unacquired data are acquired by using the server (communication line) or a broadcasting wave.
