摘要 A method for manufacturing a multi-layer material for metal bearing having excellent physical properties while omitting complicated preparing, sintering and rolling processes of metal powder is provided. A method for manufacturing a multi-layer material for metal bearing by spray forming comprises the steps of spraying droplets(42) of molten metal(40) to be formed into a bearing layer, and depositing the droplets onto a surface of the backing material at a deposition thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm while transferring a backing material(12) at a transfer speed of 2 to 20 mm/sec. The spraying process of molten metal is performed by discharging molten metal from a lower part of a tundish(50) and spraying the discharged molten metal at a spraying pressure of 4 to 8 bars by using a gas sprayer(60). The method comprises depositing the droplets onto the preheated backing material after preheating the backing material at 800 deg.C or more. The molten metal is a Cu alloy melt, and the backing material is a steel sheet.
