A method for producing a dental prosthesis of golden color is provided to enhance corrosion-resistance and wear resistance of the dental prosthesis, without deterioration of an esthetic appeal thereof. A method for producing a dental prosthesis comprises the steps of: Ni-alloy casting, grinding, and coating. To deposit titanium nitride, a product inside a chamber is heated under high vacuum to get rid of any remaining moisture, and an ion cleaning process is carried out under conditions of 20mTorr, Ar (flow rate) 200sccm, and bias -900V. Next, a metal cleansing process is carried out under conditions of Ar 200sccm, 20mTorr, and bias -900V, followed by a TiN coating process under conditions of 300deg.C, N2 200sccm, 7.5mTorr, bias -30V, and Arc current 65A.
