A structure for mounting a steering gear box is provided to increase the rigidity, to restrict vibration and noise, and to steer comfortably by making a steering gear box mounting member of a rigid separable aluminum housing and fitting a steering gear box cylinder. A steering gear box(30) includes a steering gear box cylinder(31), a pinion aluminum housing mounting member(33), and an aluminum housing mounting member(35). Plural mounting members are combined with the steering gear box cylinder, and the pinion aluminum housing mounting member is combined with the end of the steering gear box cylinder. The aluminum housing mounting member is combined with the other side of the steering gear box cylinder, and the ends of the steering gear box cylinder are fitted forcibly to the aluminum housing mounting members. The steering gear box is used in common by adjusting the position with turning the aluminum housing mounting member.
