PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device for vehicle which is used mainly for the winkers of a motorcycle and of which the size is made smaller. SOLUTION: The vehicle switch device (1) is constituted of a pair of sliding members (21L, 21R), arranged in parallel inside a case so that they can retreat and return in substantially the same direction, with the retreating/returning direction of an operation arm (9) with respect to a switch case (5); a cam mechanism (31), each formed between the operation arm and of each the sliding members; a pair of biasing members (13L, 13R) for biasing each of the sliding members in a returning direction; and a group of switches (41L, 41R, 51) which are opened and closed by a sliding of each of the sliding members. Since the sliding members slide in the retreating/returning direction, the space in a direction of crossing the direction of retreating/returning can be saved, and the size of the switch device as a whole can be made smaller, at least corresponding to the space saved.
