PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator capable of obtaining high static eliminating performance, and high in safety. SOLUTION: This static eliminator 10 is equipped with an ion generating part 28 to separately generate positive ions and negative ions, an ion carrying path 30 which separately carries the positive ions and the negative ions generated by the ion generating part 28, the outside of which is insulated, and the inside of which has conductivity, an ion supply part 40 provided at the tip of the ion carrying path 30 to supply the positive ions and the negative ions by mixing them, a fan 22 to send air to the ion generating part 28, a dust removing filter 26 to remove dust in the air sent to the ion generating part 28, a chemical filter 24 to remove organic substances in the air sent to the ion generating part 28, and dc power supplies 36A, 36B to impress a dc voltage having the same polarity as the ion flowing in the ion carrying path 30 on the inside of the ion carrying path 30.
