PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lead terminal and a relay terminal from bending, in resistance weld connection between the lead terminal 12 and the relay terminal 5. SOLUTION: This rotation detection sensor P is used for detecting magnetic field fluctuation owing to the rotation of a detected body B, converting it into an electric signal, and outputting it. At a connection part between the lead terminal 12 of a detection part (a) and the relay terminal 5, the relay terminal is supported/fixed with the both sides thereof embedded in holders 2 (2b and 2e). When the both sides of the relay terminal are supported/fixed, a both-end supported beam state is brought about and the bending of the relay terminal is far smaller than in a cantilever beam state. Assuming that a lengthwise rib is formed in at least either the lead terminal or the relay terminal, its lengthwise flexural resistance is improved while the relay terminal, etc. are furthermore prevented from bending. The prevention of the bending prevents, to the utmost, the lead terminal and the relay terminal from making contact with each other at parts other than the connection part (projection 9). The resistance weld connection can be performed with electric current concentrated on the projection 9, making it possible to obtain sufficient connection strength. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
