PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional removing method of scale in a boiler or a cooling water system, keeping the operation of an aqueous system suspended at every definite period to open the aqueous system to manually remove the scale or a scale removing agent is added while continuing operation to remove the scale, enables the scale adhesion state in the aqueous system not to be accurately grasped beforehand with the aqueous system left wastefully open, and excess and deficiency brought about in the adding amount of the scale removing agent and that, in its turn, an adverse effect is exerted on the aqueous system. SOLUTION: The scale adhesion state in the aqueous system can be simply grasped by adding a scale adhesion judging agent containing a chelating agent to the target aqueous system to easily judge whether the removal of scale is performed.
