PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester which can easily prevent conveying means 6 and 234 from being damaged by grain culms clogging them, while it can quickly restart a harvesting operation. SOLUTION: The combine harvester comprises: a traveling machine body which is equipped with a traveling part 2; a reaping device 3 which is arranged in the traveling machine body 1 so as to reap the grain culms; a threshing device 5 for threshing the grain culms reaped by the reaping device 3; and a waste straw cutter 235 for cutting waste straws taken out from the threshing device 5. The combine harvester is provided with a plurality of electric motors 93 and 94 for driving the plurality of conveying means 6 and 234 for conveying the grain culms to the waste straw cutter 235 from the reaping device 3, respectively. The combine harvester is constituted so that the plurality of conveying means 6 and 234 can be driven for reverse rotation only for a prescribed period of time by controlling the plurality of electric motors 93 and 94 in a reversed manner, because at least any one of the plurality of conveying means 6 and 234 is clogged with the grain culms.
