<p>The method involves calculating values representative of similarities between a pattern vector and prototype vectors of a data base of a single fault (X) and representative of identified single fault, in presence of the pattern vector resulting from transformation of a data file (JDD3) issued from fault equipments e.g. motor vehicles (V1-V4). The single faults are occurred in the equipment, and each single fault assembly excludes one of the identified single fault. The single fault of the equipment is deduced from the similarity values. An independent claim is also included for a device for diagnosing single fault occurring in fault equipment and represented by a data file.</p> |
