PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display panel that can reduce occurrence of a defect of a sealing wall and efficiently detect occurrence of the detect, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: An organic EL display panel 10 has a substrate 101, plural organic EL displays 100 arranged on the substrate 101, a sealing plate 201 covering the upper side of the plural organic EL elements 100, a sealing wall 202 which is disposed in an edge area 10b, configured in a frame-shape so as to surround the display area 10a and formed of glass frit, and a moisture absorption sensor 204 which is disposed in the edge area 10b and varies in color due to moisture absorption. The substrate 101, the sealing plate 201 and the sealing wall 202 constitute a sealing space for the plural organic EL elements 100, widening portions 202a, 202b which vary in width on a joint face 202i to the substrate 101 exist in the sealing wall 202, and the moisture absorption sensors 204a, 204b are arranged between the display area 10a and the widening portions 202a, 202b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
